About

Honoring my esoteric musical influences while new auditory pathways, I offer an invitation to enjoy and experience my compositions. i work mostly in melodic, ambient and cinematic forms and I draw inspiration from the pioneering works of diverse artists such as Coil, Ulver, Tangerine Dream and Psychic TV, I like to craft sound experiences that resonate with both the mind and the spirit. Each composition serves as a testament to some authentic experience and an emotional depth.

Through music I invite listeners to embark on a reflective journey through the intersections of personal memory and collective experience.

As I continue to evolve sonically, audiences can anticipate my body of work to not only honor my influences but also to carve out a distinctive space within the contemporary music landscape.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Time. Time, nostalgia, memory and the past. I feel incapable of having any influence on the present and so I face an unchangeable future:

“The present is rendered meaningless, the past unchangeably negative, and the passage of time turned into a dragging, inexorable, and viscous continuance. “

WHY CREATE?

Making music adds critical meaning to my life. It is a journey of self-exploration, empowerment and transformation. Composing allows me to ‘speak’ personal truths that I cannot truly articulate and to invite others to participate in a two-way conversation. When I create music, I become more than I was before - I will not accept the superficial circumstances of my existence.

“The phrase l’art pour l’art argues that art does not need moral, political, religious, or utilitarian justification. Its value comes from its own form, experience, and expression — not from serving an external purpose”.

Music is so essential to our existence, and I am compelled to share ideas, forms and aesthetics. Creative endeavors can be hard work: I want these works to be witnessed, and I wish to be heard. Creation allows dissent and rebellion and can offer resistance to the dominant mode of commodification.

Creativity and the Journey

I have often thought that creativity was something you either had or didn’t. I admired it in others while doubting it in myself. The journey toward creativity began the moment I stopped waiting for permission and started paying attention—to my thoughts, my questions, and the recurring, niggling ideas that kept creeping back into my consciousness.

For me, the act of creation – launching something into the consciousness and landscape of the world – is still difficult. I compared my work to others and focused more on what was missing than on what was growing. I felt vulnerable to judgement and cynical dismissal. Every attempt felt imperfect, unfinished. But I am committed to my voice – I’m not special but I am unique. And so, I am committed to the practice and through this journey I am transformed and my actions leave a mark on the world and reveal, in me, a new perspective.

I am beginning to hear the sound of my own voice, my mumblings into the Void. I am learning to express all those things that have remained hidden for so long.
